Acoma Pueblo Native American Pottery Fine Line Olla #2 - Monroe Victorino
Artist: Monroe Victorino (Acoma Pueblo)
Dimensions: 8" tall X 9" Wide
Description: Traditional Hand coiled Olla by Monroe Victorino of Acoma Pueblo. It has "Fine Line" designs around the perimeter! This piece is a very nice piece! The painting is spectacular on this piece! Monroe hand coils all of his pottery and uses all natural materials for his paints. Monroe is the son of Juana Augustine Phillips and was taught by both her and his former wife Beverly Garcia. He has several daughters that are also potters!
Note: This piece has some rub marks on the bottom white area on one side. Most likely from another of his pots rubbing against it. (See last pic)
