Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled Jar fired outdoors by Vernida Polacca Nampeyo. It has 2 "Beetle lady" figures on opposite sides and 2 corn stalk patterns painted around the perimeter. This is a larger piece for Vernida! It does have a smoke cloud on one side with the corn stalk. Vernida is the daughter of Harold & Alice Polacca. She was taught by her grandmother, Fannie Nampeyo and is the great granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano. She is the sister of Clinton Polacca & Reva Ami. There are no cracks or chips or repairs.
