Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled Bird Jar by Jeremy Adams Nampeyo. It has 3 Sikyatki Bird Wing designs around the perimeter! The checkerboard designs represent the planting fields. It is hand coiled, painted with natural pigments from the earth and fired outdoors the traditional way! Jeremy is the son of Vernida Polacca. He was taught by his mother and is the great great grandson of Nampeyo of Hano. He is the brother Michael Adams who is a noted jeweler and his sister is Heidi Nodman. He is the nephew of Clinton Polacca & Reva Ami. He is also the grandson of Alice Adams. There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
