Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled bowl fired outdoors by Darlene James Nampeyo. It has an "Sikyatki Eagle Tail" pattern painted around the perimeter. Darlene is the daughter of Dalton & Ruth James. She was taught by her grandmother, Rachel Namingha and her Aunts Dextra Quotskuyva & Priscilla Namingha. She is the great-great granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano. She is the cousin of Les Namingha, Steve Lucas & Dan Namingha. She signs "Darlene Nampeyo" etched in the pot with a Corn motif below to represent her Corn Clan.
