Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled Eagle Tail vase fired outdoors by Emerson Ami. The Eagle Tails are painted on an angle! A very nice piece! Emerson is incorporating a new green slip on this piece. He uses all natural materials for his paints. Emerson learned from his grandma Eleanor Ami and was inspired by Mark Tahbo. His is the husband of Dorothy Ami and the cousin of Valerie Namoki. His other grandmother is Carol Namoki and his brother is Loren Ami. Emerson is always working to learn new techniques and honing his skills! No cracks, chips or restorations.
