Artist: Debbie Clashin  (Hopi Tribe)

Dimensions: 5 1/2" tall X 8" Wide

Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled Eagle Jar by Debbie Clashin. Deb calls this piece "Prayer For Rain". It has rain designs around the rim and checkerboard patterns that represent corn fields! There are 2 eagles on each side and feather designs around the bottom half. The 2 half circles on the lower portion represent the night for prayers! The orange blush on this piece is just amazing! Debbie is the daughter of Lorena & Morris Clashin Sr. She was taught by her late cousin Dianna Tahbo and then by Mark Tahbo.  She signs "Debbie Clashin" with a Pipe hallmark below to represent her Tobacco Clan. Debbie uses all natural vegetal & mineral paints and fires her pottery outdoors. She has steadily become very much in demand and her work is highly collectible.
