Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled Star Bowl (That's what Emerson called it!) fired outdoors by Emerson Ami. A very nice piece! It has a star design! The little crosses are stars and the steps represent clouds! He uses all natural materials for his paints. Emerson learned from his grandma Eleanor Ami and was inspired by Mark Tahbo. His is the husband of Dorothy Ami and the cousin of Valerie Namoki. His other grandmother is Carol Namoki and his brother is Loren Ami. Emerson is always working to learn new techniques and honing his skills! No cracks, chips or restorations.
