Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled bowl by award winning artist Lydia Mahle. It has traditional designs including bird, rain, clouds and water waves painted around the perimeter and a very nice orange blush color! The walls of Lydia's pottery are very thin which is the sign of an excellent potter. The symmetry is excellent! Lydia is the sister in law of Gloria Mahle. She was taught by her mother the late Stella Huma. She uses all natural vegetal and mineral paints and fires her pottery outdoors the traditional way. This is signed on the bottom with Lydia's hallmark Parrot symbol underneath her her name. She is Parrot Clan.
