Description: Traditional Hopi hand coiled Star Jar fired outdoors by Karen Abieta. It has a Star design on top and other shard designs, dragonflies & Stars painted around the bottom. It's a really beautiful piece! Karen is the daughter of Lenora Nahoodyce Abeyta and Isidor Abieta who is from Isleta. She is a member of the Kachina/Parrot Clan from her mothers side. Her work is very high quality. She has won awards at Santa Fe Indian Market & Heard Museum shows among others.
