Description: The Hano Mana "Tewa Girl" Kachina is very often a favorite first or second gift to children. She appears in the Bean Dance on Second Mesa and in the Water Serpent Ceremony on First Mesa. She is wrapped in a traditional maiden shawl with a beautifully painted and carved dress with a red sash. Long black hair accents the turquoise face. Artist is unknown. Acquired from an estate sale.
