She inspired a lot of other potters to start making melon jars! Juanita was one of the potters responsible for the renaissance of Jemez pottery. (Along with Mary Small). She is 83 years old now and still producing! She is the mother of Glendora Fragua, Cliff Fragua & B. J. Fragua
