Artist: Thomas Natseway - (Laguna Pueblo)

Description: Traditional hand pinched miniature "Shalako Mana Lidded Jar" pottery from Laguna Pueblo by Thomas Natseway. It has fine lines painted around it and the head is a removable lid! How cool is this! Thomas uses all natural pigments for his paints and brushes made from yucca plant. He specializes in extreme Miniatures and replicates tiny versions of well known designs from various Pueblos. He began working in 1979 under the guidance of an older experienced potter, Ethel Shields and her daughter (now Thomas' wife) Charmae Shields Natseway, both from nearby Acoma Pueblo. Stand is included.
