Description: "Elemental Series" Etched Vase - Ceramic Slip Cast with Kingman Turquoise stone and 4 copper bands around the perimeter! Chipped texture around the rim with a unique slip from Vanderwagon, NM that is put over the commercial clay and fired with cedar wood giving it the darker color with some fire clouds. The pots are also coated with a light pine pitch before firing. There are also 4 bands of 16 gauge copper wire stretched around the perimeter! These pots are very unique and are definitely a conversation piece! Comes with a story card by Gerald describing in more detail his inspiration in creating this wonderful series of pottery!
