Description: Beautiful hand coiled Corn Jar from talented potter Marie Chinana! It has a stone polished finish on the front around the Corn Stalk with a Sunface and traditional designs on the matte finish painted around the perimeter! Marie processes the natural clay and slips and hand coils her pottery. She does use acrylic paints and fires in a kiln. She is a highly skilled painter! She is the daughter of Martha Toya and the sister of Lawrence Toya, Lupita Yepa and John F. Toya. This is a really nice piece!
