Description: Hand Coiled Female Storyteller from Cochiti artist Dorothy Herrera! A very cute piece! She has 7 children all over her (2 girls and 5 boys!!) One boy is holding a ball! She has a squash blossom necklace painted on her! Dorothy is the daughter of Mary Francis Herrera and the granddaughter of Laurencita Herrera! Dorothy uses both natural paints and acrylic paints and fires her pottery in a kiln.
Note: This piece fell over and broke and was glued back together. The child on her right side and her right leg were glued back on. Please look at the last 2 photos.
