Janice uses all natural pigments for her paints (Red rock clay for red, White slip which can turn beige or grey depending on the firing conditions, and wild spinach for black) She fires all of her pottery outdoors the traditional way. A true collector's item! Janice is the sister of noted potter Virgil Ortiz and Joyce Ortiz and Inez Ortiz(d). She is also the aunt of Lisa Holt.
