Description: Hand Coiled Female Storyteller from Cochiti artist Dorothy Herrera! A very cute piece! She has 8 children all over her (1 girl and 7 boys!!) One boy is holding a ball and one is holding a cat! The girl is wearing a shirt that has hearts on it! She has a squash blossom necklace painted on her! Dorothy is the daughter of Mary Francis Herrera and the granddaughter of Laurencita Herrera! Dorothy uses both natural paints and acrylic paints and fires her pottery in a kiln.
