Description: Hand coiled Corn KIva Vase by Virginia "Ponca" Fragua of Jemez Pueblo! It has a cream colored slip with a stone polished finish around the rim and a corn design painted on both sides along with Rain pattern, clouds and mountains! The bottom half has a red slip with melon ribs and a stone polished finish! Ponca was taught by her grandmother Persingula M. Gachupin. She is related to Dominique Toya (Cousin), Maxine Toya (Aunt), Bertha Gachupin (Sister) and her mother Lenora Fragua.
