Description: Hand coiled Carved Redware bowl by Santa Clara Pueblo artist Billy Cain. It has an Avanyu (Water Serpent) design carved around the perimeter in a cream colored slip. The top has a white slip. Billy called this his "Snow Top" pot. This has been in our personal collection for many years, but are downsizing now. Billy is the son of Mary & William Cain. He is the Uncle of Tammy Garcia & Autumn Borts-Medlock.
Purchased directly from Billy Cain many years ago before he passed away.
