Description: Carved from the root of a cottonwood tree, this Hahai-i Wuhti "pour water woman" katsina by Hopi carver Ernal Harvey. She guards over the village which is carved into the base. On the side is a well where she gets her water from. Also known as the Hopi Divine Mother. Signed on the bottom by Ernal. Ernal makes his living solely on his katsinas.
