Description: Traditional hand coiled "Buffalo Jar" pottery from Taos Pueblo by award winning artist Bernice Naranjo. This piece is spectacular! There is large Buffalo on one side and a heard on the other side with mountains in the background! These are all sgraffito etched into the pottery! Wow! Bernice uses all natural pigments for her paints and gathers her clay twice a year from Pueblo land. She specializes in traditional and contemporary pottery. She is a self taught artist. She is the mother of Dusty Naranjo who is also a noted potter and her grandson is Jonathan Naranjo who is also an award winning potter!
