Description: Hand coiled Jar with 4 Large Birds alternating around the perimeter. Each has a different design. It also has flower, rain, lightning & cloud designs. They incorporated 3 different colored slips on this piece! The bottom checkerboard designs are the cosmos to stars surrounded by a rainbow. The painting and designs on this are exquisite! Natural paints and fired outdoors! Elizabeth & Marcellus are some of the few potters still active from Zia Pueblo. Their work is highly collectible. This piece is signed by just Elizabeth.
